well, duh.

Since my hubby has been working so hard on our basement this summer and has started traveling weekly for work, I took it upon myself to learn how to operate our John Deere riding lawn mower a couple of months ago.

Turns out, mowing the lawn is FABULOUS!

Seriously. No REALLY. I mean it.

Yes. I really mean it.

Ok, lets get the laughter out of our systems now.

There, are we done?

No?

Ok, now?

Good.

Anyway...I've been mowing the lawn almost weekly for the last 2 months now and just today I figured out why I like it so much.

It's because it's the one thing around here that I can tidy up and it can't be immediately messed up again. It takes that grass a good 3-4 days to get messy again. Unlike the inside of the house which has 2 monkeys children to mess it up in 3.2 miliseconds.

Oh, and it's also great because I can hear myself think even over the roar of the engine. Unlike the roar of Dora the Explorer or anything else on Noggin.

Nice. I never minded mowing the lawn either. It always looked so good and it was a good workout- without felling like you were working out (we had a push mower and the walker was broken.)

Ha ha! Our boys ask when it's their turn! Hmmm...3 and 4...not quite yet!
